Paul received his B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Manitoba in 2011. After completing his degree, he began working with Hudbay Minerals as an exploration geologist at the Reed Lake Project. Next, he worked for Mega Precious Metal as a Project Geologist running drill programs at the Headway Project in Red Lake and then moving onto the Monument Bay property in Manitoba. His next stint was back to Red Lake, working for Goldcorp as a Production Geologist as part of their Graduate Development Program, with a rotation as an Exploration Geologist at Musselwhite Mine. Lastly, he was a Production Geology Supervisor at Musselwhite Mine before joining the Resident Geology Program at the Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry in 2021.
