Wilson Luo, Director, Business Development, Mitacs and Bill Maloney, Directory Industry Research Partnerships, Lakehead University, will provide an overview of Mitacs and a few of the different funding programs they offer industries looking to partner with Academia. For the second year in a row, Mitacs’ Business Strategy Internship (BSI) program is connecting students from academic institutions across the country with businesses as the post-COVID-19 economic
recovery begins in earnest.

The BSI program will bolster Canada’s economic recovery by supporting businesses with their innovation activities while providing experiential learning opportunities for college, undergraduate, and graduate students, as well as postdoctoral fellows across the country.

Qualifying businesses are eligible for significant cost reductions available for a limited time to small and medium-sized businesses and not-for-profit organizations with fewer than 500 employees. Sign up for this presentation to learn how the Mitacs can help your company.

Mitacs is proud to support Canadian businesses as they help to build a more innovative, inclusive, and resilient economy in the years to come.
